Job Description

1.Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. 2.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, monthly closings, and reconciliations. 3.Monitor and control project accounting, including job costing, project budgets, cost allocations, and revenue recognition. 4.review supplier and subcontractor invoices/contracts for accuracy, compliance, and timely payment. 5.Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and petty cash control. 6.Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies. 7.Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation. 8.Collaborate with project managers and site teams to track project expenditures and profitability. 9.Develop and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls. 10.Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff. Job Requirements

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus). 2.Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry. 3.Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices, job costing, and project financial management. 5.Solid understanding of IFRS / local GAAP and tax regulations. 5.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, ERP systems) and MS Excel. 6.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 7.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
