Roots Commodities started its operation in 2012 as a trading house specializing in grains and pulses. Since then, the company has diversified its operations into logistics, industrial processing, and poultry production in both Egypt and GCC regions. In 2021 the company won a concession for the first private Grain Terminal in Egypt, with the annual plan to handle 1 million ton of grains and pulses. Expected operating time of the Terminal will be by the end of 2022. Crown Poultry was founded in February 2016 and specialized its activities in broiler production. Based on the most advanced technology in the field and the annual production capacity 3M birds, Crown is considered to be an Egyptian producer achieving the worldwide professional records. Among the ambitious prospective plans is to expand the production to reach 6M birds State of the art processing plant located in 10th of Ramadan city, specialized in cleaning / splitting / packing of wide range of pulses. The first phase designed with processing capacity of 15K monthly, equipped with silos ready to receive and store more than 50K tons of product and additionally 15k tons of a cold storage.
