Tax Senior Accountant

Job Description

Prepare the required Analysis & Documents for the tax Inspection Process. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and corporate income tax). Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax declarations to the Egyptian Tax Authority. Reconcile tax accounts and maintain proper documentation and records. Support in the preparation of corporate income tax and deferred tax calculations. Assist in responding to tax audits and queries raised by tax authorities. Monitor tax law updates and inform management of any changes affecting the company. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when required. Participate in developing internal controls and procedures for tax compliance. Support monthly and year-end closing related to tax accounts. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure tax compliance in all business transactions.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in taxation or accounting, preferably in a large organization or audit firm. Real estate, construction, or multinational company experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations (especially VAT and income tax). Excellent command of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with tax authorities. Good command of English . -Location: New Cairo.
