Job Description
Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts including bank, suppliers, and customers.
• Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Trading Operations
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable for local and international trading activities.
• Verify purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and ensure correct cost allocation.
• Assist with foreign currency transactions, LC (Letter of Credit), and import/export documentation accounting.
Manufacturing Operations
• Maintain accurate costing records including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Track production costs, overheads, and variances against standards.
• Support inventory control by reconciling stock movements with accounting records.
Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, etc.).
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
General Support
• Assist in cash flow management and treasury activities.
• Provide financial data and analysis to management for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, sales, production, logistics) to ensure financial accuracy.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading and/or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (ODOO) is an advantage .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
