Accounting Manager experienced

Job Description

-Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. -Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting. -Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. -Maintain compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and financial reporting standards. -Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure readiness of all required documentation. -Implement and monitor effective internal controls & policies to safeguard assets. -Oversee payroll accounting and statutory deductions in compliance with local labor laws. -Lead, train, and develop a team of accountants. -Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. -Recommend and implement process improvements for increased efficiency. -Take initiative in identifying financial opportunities and providing strategic input.

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (any accounting or finance certification is a plus). -Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years ina managerial role. -Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting principles and tax regulations. -Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks etc.) and Microsoft Excel. -Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. -Excellent leadership and communication skills. -Fluent in English and Arabic. -Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward. -Experience working in startups or fast-growing companies. -Experience in multinational or large local companies. -Familiarity with ERP systems. -Ability to manage change and work in a fast-paced environment.
